Work independently or as part of a team
• Periodically conduct research for new or existing technologies;
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring of Test Engineers;
• Document and communicate automation framework functions, interfaces, test cases and results to diverse audiences;
• Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system performance requirements are met;
• Test station design, build-up, calibration, purchasing and maintenance;
• Manages all aspects of complex projects;
• Identifies any problems with new products; makes adjustments or recommendations to resolve problems.
• Experience with environmental testing and proper mechanical test fixturing;
• Hands-on oversight of complex, aerospace, environmental, vacuum and R&D testing;
• Experience with testing for harsh environments such as vibration.
• Hands-on testing;
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Manage complex projects in development, coordination and conducting of technical reliability studies and understands and can develop and analyze, reliability test plans. Understands how to analyze reliability field data Recommendation of design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability. Compilation and analysis of performance reports. BS Degree is required. Position is onsite. At least 10 years of experience.
