We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated hands -on SAP Global

Technology Services Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role,

you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on SAP solutions and

driving technology-enabled transformation projects across our global client

base. As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with clients, understand

their business needs and leverage your deep SAP expertise to deliver

innovative solutions that optimize business processes and enhance system

performance.

This is a hybrid role 40 hours/week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver SAP GTS advisory and implementation services to global client within the aerospace industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP GTS Configuration.
  • Leverage understanding of 'out of the box' solution design that is aligned to leading practices and differentiated business outcome to support client capability needs.
  • Deconstruct key business problems to identify value areas and structure and implement complex technology solutions for clients around SAP solutions.
  • Deliver advisory services in support of technology-enabled business change (integrator selection, vendor selection, application studies, solution architecture) within Global Trade Services (GTS).
  • Help create innovative and differentiated SAP solutions that will help the group stay relevant and "in the new" in our marketplace.
  • Assist in growing market share by leveraging relationships and contributing to proposals, though leadership and asset/accelerator development.

· Knowledge of Trade Compliance Best Practices is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP transformation, consulting, and delivery, with at least 2 years of experience in a global SAP delivery role, working on international projects.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) integration, advisory, and delivery.

· A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in Computer Science or Business.

  • SAP GTS Modules: Hands-on experience with SAP GTS modules (Compliance, Customs, and Risk Management) is crucial.
  • SAP Logistics Modules: Proficiency in SAP logistics modules such as SD, and EWM is often required.
  • Global Trade Regulations: Strong understanding of global trade regulations, customs processes, and duty management is essential.
  • Preference Processing: Expertise in configuring preference processing within SAP GTS is a plus.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to work with complex trade compliance issues.

Additional Information:

· We prefer that the candidate lives within a one-hour drive to Hartford, CT. This position is remote; however, the candidate may ask to come to the offices in Glastonbury and/or East Hartford, Farmington, CT for team meetings and/or face-to face meetings.

· We prefer (but not required) that the candidate have prior experience at a large contracting firm (e.g., Deloitte, KPMG etc.).
