The Quality Engineer will work towards optimizing the quality of production processes, reducing waste, and increasing efficiency. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Responsibilities include developing and conducting tests, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborating with teams to implement corrective actions when needed. Quality Engineers also conduct audits of manufacturing processes and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Honeywell systems
- APQP, FAIR’s, Net Inspect
- Ensures that products meet quality standards and customer requirements
- Follow company's Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001).
- Conducts inspections and tests on raw materials and finished products
- Identifies and resolves quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Communicate with suppliers any non-conforming issues following through with Root Cause / Corrective Actions as needed. Work in parallel with APT Engineering and Suppliers to help solve any processing related issues.
- Customer RMRA’s submittals, and closures. Address and resolve any quality concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Develops and implements quality control plans and procedures
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve product and manufacturing processes
- Educates and trains employees on quality standards and procedures
· Mentor quality inspectors and manufacturing team members. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance and professional development.
- Maintains quality documentation and records
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase operational efficiency. Utilize industry standard methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
