CNC Lathe Operator

 
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and a passion for precision fabrication. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and milling machines, as well as performing assembly and quality control tasks.
Duties:
- Operate CNC lathes and milling machines to fabricate precision parts and components
- Set up and program CNC machines using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct quality control inspections using precision tools such as micrometers
- Assemble parts and components using assembly line techniques
- Load and unload materials using a forklift
- Perform welding tasks as required
- Press components together using a press
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and precision
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines
Experience:
- Proven experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines
- Familiarity with programming software and CAD systems
- Strong understanding of precision fabrication techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Experience working on an assembly line or in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices
- Basic welding skills and experience working with metal components
- Experience with press operations and assembly tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in a related field or vocational training preferred
