The Test Technician is responsible for monitoring test procedures and equipment within production and manufacturing to produce high quality products. The ideal candidate must be able to work 8 hours per day and 5 days per week with punctuality in addition to working overtime as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

( Review product specs and blueprints for scheduled work assignements.
( Prepare units for test to include filling fluids, installing test instruments, and presetting controls.
( Check unit(s) wiring and flows using the proper documentation.
( Test units using the proper documents and test equipment.
( Record and calculate data.
Perform final run on units as assigned.
( Prepare unit for shipment, and test related items.
( Responsible for good housekeeping of individual work area.
( Responsible for maintaining a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.
( Other assignments as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or higher supervisor(s).
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
( CIT: establish standards and procedures for continuous improvement.
( Maintain the currency with respect to technical and supervisory skills by attending training classes, special technical and administration courses; seminars, exhibits and trade shows are needed. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ( 2 years of related experience, and a broad knowledge of the section and the operation of machines, equipment, and tools that will be used in the satisfactory performance of duties.
( Ability to use, read, and interprets drawings and measuring scale or tape proficiently. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
( Working knowledge of electrical trouble shooting Hydraulics, Air Conditioning and Diesel Engine applications.
( Certified to handle refrigerants per EPA 40 CFR 82 Subpart F prior to use – type 2 or universal, preferred but not required.
EDUCATION: ( High school diploma or equivalent.
