Human Resources Specialist
· Handling employees' inquiries regarding all forms of leave administration, benefits, company policies
· Maintaining employees' records in hardcopy and electronic filing, tracking down information to assist with employee inquiries
· Updating the status of new joiners, terminations, transfers, promotions, employee action changes
· Tracking performance reviews and supporting the performance review process and other HR related activities
· Generating reports as business requires, hires, terms, leaves of absence
· Coordinating workers comp claims, fmla cases, STD tracking accordingly, ensuring process and procedure coordination
· Managing employee relations by tracking of hiring, training and onboarding
· Assist with recruitment activity on the coordination of job postings, applicant tracking, interview coordination, testing process not limited to
· Ensure support of onboarding and new hire orientation – creating a great new hire experience
· Preparing and sharing information with other departments, candidates, other locations, ensuring proper timely follow through and full circle customer service
· Work in conjunction with other departments and office locations, be the central point of contact and ensure compliance with HR activity
· Support some safety related programs and initiatives experience with safety preferrable but not required
Job requirements: (not limited to):
· Must be detail oriented, care about accuracy and ensuring quality output
· Must be customer service oriented and have the ability to manage multi- customer needs and provide timely follow up
· Must have the ability and willing to communicate clearly, accurately and set the example of strong communications
· Experience keeping multiple activities coordinated and organized
· Ability to prioritize and ensure time completion of tasks
· Ability to shift gears and start and stop different activities
· Experience with building out HR processes and procedures, not being afraid to help with new and non-common tasks, ability to stretch your learning and experience within the scope of HR work
