Support Tech - Full Time Permanent position
Salary– 40k BASE Ranges
Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k
- 2 Years Work Experience in System Administration or IT Help Desk Related Support
- Knowledge of: Desktop / Laptop / Server Hardware / Operating System Support
- Knowledge of: System Administration in Microsoft Systems: SQL / Exchange / Active Directory
- Knowledge of: Virtualization Support with VMware: ESXi / Horizon View Desired
- Knowledge of: Backup / Recovery Procedures and System Performance Monitoring Tools
- Effective Project Management Techniques
Job Duties:
- Install New / Rebuild Existing Servers and Configure Hardware, Peripherals, Services, Settings, Directories, Storage, ETC.
- Maintain New and Existing Systems through Firmware / System Updates / Upgrades to Maintain Security and Company Standards
- Research and Recommend Innovative Automated Approaches for System Administration Tasks for IT Staff and End Users
- Assist in Deploying / Supporting Remote Office Locations and Staff
- Perform Daily System Monitoring
- Assist and Escalate as Necessary End User Requests through Company Ticket System
- Engage with Vendors, Consultants via Support Contracts for Tier 2/3 Support as Needed
- Repair and Recover from Hardware or Software Failures
- Apply OS Patches and Upgrades on a Regular Basis, Configure / Add New Services as Needed
- Upgrade and Configure System Software as Needed
- Perform Ongoing Performance Tuning, Hardware Upgrades, Resource Optimization as Required
- Perform Routine Tasks Requested by End Users
