Job Description

 

You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security measures to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and other potential security threats. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to incidents. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data, systems, and applications.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents within the manufacturing facility's IT infrastructure.

Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and address any weaknesses or gaps in our security measures.

Develop and implement effective security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard the organization's systems, networks, and data.

Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to detect and respond to security incidents, intrusions, and other potential threats.

Investigate security breaches and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend remedial actions to prevent future occurrences.

Stay up-to-date with the latest IT security trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations for enhancing the organization's security posture.

Assist in educating and training employees on security best practices, policies, and procedures.

Collaborate with external vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Contribute to the maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (relevant certifications will be a plus).

Proven experience working as an IT Security Analyst or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, etc.).

Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing methodologies, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

Solid understanding of industry-standard security frameworks and regulatory compliance.

Proficient in incident response, threat intelligence, and security incident management.

Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) security will be highly beneficial.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
